A trip for both big and small.
Exploring the beach, sand and water are always a hit for kids - and who does not save a small child inside.

On the way out to the seal banks we walk over the Wadden Sea - which at low tide is drained – it is in itself a unique experience.

In the horizon sky and sea melts together - while we go out to seall banks - a fascinating sight.

Along the way, we examine the animal and bird life.
We dig for sand worms, find hermit crabs and Laver Spire shells.
We try to move like the birds.

And maybe we find a piece of amber.

Practical information

Child friendliness

Very child friendly.

We recommend to let the children play with sand and water - so give them some clothes on, that are suitable for it.

Disabled

People with walking disabilities can borrow an electric wheelchair with balloon tyres - send us a text (+ 45 30 20 25 43) - then it will be waiting for you.

Bring

Binoculars (if you got one),camera, a bag for shells.

Reasonable attire

It is colder at the Wadden-sea than on the beach - so bring a windbreaker or rain jacket with you  - and maybe an extra sweater.

Kids would really like to play with the wet sand - so whatever the weather is - it's a good idea to give them rain pants on - if it is not shorts weather J.

The footwear should consist of rubber boots or you may walk barefoot dependent on the seasons and temperatures, as we may have to to walk in ankle deep water in some places.

We meet here

We meet at the ramp to Soenderho Strand.

Drive at the road to Soenderho on Fanø (Landevejen). At the end of Landevejen turn to the right on Strandvejen and continue to the end - at the beach.
